Got a few questions about DCU on the PS4. Does the dlc/currency/etc go on sale often and what is/what isn't worth it? Also, has the game changed much in the last 8 months or so? I tried it before and liked it, MMOs on consoles are nice, but I remember it being a bit janky and having a somewhat rough framerate. I've been suddenly hit with a wave of Batman/DC addiction and it sounds like something I'd like to try out again. Really just assume I'm a brand new player trying to figure out how to get the most out of starting out.

That's definitely the price I was waiting on for a digital Disgaea 4. Might pick up NFS: Rivals for $12 since every other racing game on PS4 last year turned out to be a bust for me.

Well, the $10 price will finally get me to bite on Tactics Ogre. I couldn't justify $20 for it, as good as it is, but $10 is a no-brainer. Friendly reminder that if you have both a PS3 and a PS4 and are looking to get FF14, buy it for PS3 and just do the free upgrade to PS4 since it's far cheaper.

It looks like that lovely Fat Princess f2p match 3 game came out on mobile, it doesn't seem all great BUT if you get far enough in it you get a free copy of the PS3 version so if your willing to put in some time you can get a pretty good game that I'm not sure anyone actually plays anymore.

Yeah basically. It's super painless. The downside is you have to launch it from PS3 first and activate it before you can get it for PS4, you can't just buy it on PS3 and immediately upgrade. The good thing is AFAIK you don't have to update the game fully, just enough to log in and activate it. But you still have to download a few gigs before you can get to that point.

It's similar to Tactics in that there are some mechanics that you might want to choose to ignore unless you want to utterly break the game in half.
