that was really great. i didn't even notice the cockroaches in that scene when I was watching it on tv.  also I love that we got the chance to have the Gods of the Arena prequel, really gives us much needed background for the various gladiators. Crixus is actually a sympathetic character! And any scene with more peter mensah is welcomed poor onemeus. his wife and gannicus should just come out and tell him, they've got a really good excuse what with them being slaves bereft of free will
