Baki is pretty good stuff. I've been watching the anime for the first season here and there since translations of the first manga series don't seem to exist.

Early on there's a guy who rips out Baki's nerves and Baki is just fine afterwards (also apparently nerves are on the outside of the body going by how it's depicted).
