I thought maybe we could discuss Manatees here, friends. These majestic cows of the sea harken back to a day when mammals were meant to have large mass, a time when playing in the sea was everyday. In olden times the natives used to ride the manatees from island to island. This symbiotic relationship between people and manatee provided the inspiration for what we know of now as surfing. Some people make very pleasant, calming memes with manatee pictures: Other people just like looking at the quiet majesty of these chubby docile creatures.

These two manatees just helped an old woman retrieve her hotdog, which had been blown into the ocean. You can see the two creatures enthusiastically fist bumping each other for a job well done.

Because of the close proximity of some houses to the waters that manatee live in, many manatees are now learning to love our entertainment and media. This manatee even has opinions on popular tv show The Game of Throne:

Despite the fact humans have decimated their populations by motor boat collisions, pollution and encroachment on their home waters, some manatees are still concerned with our welfare and produce reaffirming memes. These guys reall do care about all of us.

Big manatee fan here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfTcl_QGU-o When I was in the third grade my grandparents adopted one for me but it was hit by a boat and killed only a few months later They are benevolent creatures meant for a peaceful and idealized world, and unfortunately they're stuck here on Earth. As an adult I've tried to help them out by adopting a few more, and I'm happy to say that Lenny, Chessie, and Paddy Doyle are all doing great https://www.savethemanatee.org
