im gonna level with you folks: i am tired of the whole idea of stuff being derivative i say this because recently ive been reading about hp lovecraft, who was always beating himself up about being super derivative of poe, lord dunsany and arthur machen then i read about arthur machen and hes all like dang i'm so derivative of stuff so get it together folks everyone derives stuff from everywhere its how life works. i think warhammer 40k is pretty good as shared universes go, and the people its mainly derived from were pretty big on shared universes

Oh hey, I guess megathreads aren't a thing anymore? Okay then. Some more 11TH HOUR poo poo happened:  The "SS GRIMDORK PARTYBARGE hit a orky sea-mine and then got bumrushed by a half-dozen Kommandos. Turns out today was the day that I make constant amazing rolls and ended up decimating the local friendly npc population and nearly murdered the Ogryn and Techpriest with critical hits. The Commissar died the way he lived...having a jagged rusty axe lodged in his ribcage before getting his head torn off with an ork's bare hands. Also holy crap aimed laspistol shots drop orks like no tomorrow. The players might as well be firing lascannons.

im kind of disappointed with the destroyer squads concept. they talk them up like they use some super forbidden poo poo but they actually just use a missile launcher with bad boo boo missiles in. i was expecting them to use some of the wacky poo poo the mechanicus get like the totally-not-dark-eldar black fire guns or the rad cleansers or the other thing that i forgot what its name is
