They're going to run out of money for subsidies sooner or later. I guess Uber is hoping that Lyft runs out of money first, dies, and then Uber can jack up the rates, but that just gives an opportunity for Lyft2. Especially since despite bragging about real innovation startups tend to suffer from me too syndrome.
