David Lynch is the bitcoin of the movie industry. It doesn't make any sense and practically nobody understands or enjoys it but there's an underlying current of spergs that will defend it to it's death.

The problem is they're not Voltaire and they're also loving idiots.

David lynch does a handful of cinematically interesting things, but the good stuff in his movies always feels like an accident and not the genius fans seem to think it is
