I work in the ER and can tell you that frequently people come in calmly saying that their bruised leg/sprained ankle/abdo pain that they've had for 3 months is a 10/10 and you ask them 'hey alright cool what if your arm was being torn off right now would that be more painful' and they'll look at you straightfaced and be like 'no'. These people aren't even drug fishing they're just extremely stupid.
