Real Post. I speak both Eng./Spanish at home. I got a free French language learning course & I was astounded at how fast I was picking up French. The similarities between all the languages just jumped out for me. Crazy but I used my Spanish to help me pick up a lot French. A lot of it is a question of accent & pronounce action/vowels. I'm convinced that If you learn one you'll pick up the other one probably faster. The great French writer Alexandre Dumas exclaimed that, "English is all French just badly pronounced."

French is an absolute bitch of a language to learn but I feel kind of proud that I can sort of speak and read it (at probably a kindergartner's level). It is useful for me because I live in Belgium. I move back to the states in a few months and hopefully I will continue to learn it and get to put my penis into ladies because of it. Of course, at the same time, I will also learn Spanish. Spanish is a much much MUCH easier language to learn and far more useful in the US. So why not learn both? One for the poon and pretending your worldly, and the other to buy Mexicans to fix your house.
