I think they did the Daniel Bryan elimination to push that anything could happen but that doesn't really mean much when the insanely obvious result then happens. Also, the internet darling eliminations were loving insulting.

I threw a party with mostly non-wrestling fans (who mostly remember the attitude era) and these were their general impressions: - The Ascension sucks - Mizdow is the most entertaining thing - Paige is insanely hot - The Divas title is an insulting belt - Brock Lesnar is an insane freak but he also has a tramp stamp - Seth Rollins is everybody's new favorite wrestler - the Rumble match was boring and not as good as the older ones, in part because the ring never filled up.

The Kofi elimination spot was a nice microcosm for this Rumble match. Expectations were high and then a pretty forgettable thing happened followed by a dull elimination way too soon.

Why not just have DBry return on the Raw after the Rumble and avoid this whole debacle? At least Seth Rollins achieved full main eventer status tonight.

Sami jumped Tye Dillinger before a match this past week and beat the poo poo out of him before the bell even rang. The crowd popped huge for it.
