c720 only has 2gb soldered to the board. The new google drive uses up 300 of rams when fully loaded, plus another 150 for chome. With gmail open and a gdoc you get swapped. 90% of new hardware purchases are being driven by JS and flash.

It's almost as if google wanted my chromebook to become onsolete within a year or two because they get a little bit of money from the sale. Like I lerned on youtube, this is called externalization. Now people in haiti are going to starve to death, and there will be ten bhopals. Because I swapped.
