solve navier-stokes analytically without making any assumptions about vanishing terms

realk talk navier-stokes is one of my fav equations, it becomes tractable (sometimes) when you make it specific to the system of fluids you are trying to solve for by crossing out terms that are either negligible (very small compared to other terms) or irrelevant/known to be zero

assume the fluid is incompressible, no slip at the bottom plate (the bottom plate is moving back and forth), no velocity component in y, u is a function of t and y only, and laminar flow
easy

I, personally (as an individual) have never had so much mathss fun before this thread. People come to me and they say "hey man let's do drugs" and i laugh and say no way buddy, i'm doing maths

After doxxing ' no they will not' (not his real name btw) I've found evidence that he lives adjacent or possibly within the United Kingdom, so it is definitely Maths(plural); but then again he is p deec at naturalizing to american dialect (only slips up in the notoriously British football forum fyadlite friend of the family thread [guess what Americans just say 'sport']) so maybe OP meant "math is"

yeah actually they will

You can walk as far as you want into a forest. I wouldn't go very far unless there was a nice path. I don't wanna get lost or eaten by a bear.

Actually, you can only walk halfway into a forest - after that, you're walking out again.
