The Penguins must lead the league in too much man penalties, right? And there's not really any explanation for it but bad coaching, right?

Eh that's going to be good because it will be inconclusive and the call on the ice stands.

Beau Bennett is going to encounter bitten by a stray copperhead in the lockerroom and join Sami Salo as the second hockey player to miss time for literally being snake-bitten.

I'm pretty sure Bennett is more injury prone than Salo at this point. I have never heard of a player suffer a slew of injuries like he has. Does he have an undiagnosed case of brittle bones disease or something?

Yeah I think taking a shoulder to the chin from your team mate (this time) or getting leg locked by an opposing player going down (last injury) are things that would be dangerous for most players, just that poo poo happens to Beau all the time

Edit: oh yeah and before the season wen started he got clipped in the back of the leg by a team mates slate or some poo poo in training camp

Because Rutherford flipped out after Rinaldo's hatchet job on Letang. As I understand the logic having a goon in the lineup will scare assholes like Rinaldo away from laying cheap shots on the Penguins' injury prone stars, and thus is more valuable than having a hockey player in the lineup.

It's possible that these kinds of things happen to every hockey player all the time but Bennett continually gets injured from them, isn't it?

Like, I have a knack for stubbing my toes on absolutely everything, so I usually wear shoes even around the house, because I'm just kind of clumsy. It's possible Bennett just has a clumsy knack for getting tied up in bad spots or something.

What I'm poorly trying to say is that the more times a guy rolls snakeeyes, the more you have to suspect it might not just be dumb luck.
