My working theory is that he got re-elected since a lot of rural voters confused Mary Burke with Tammy Baldwin. "I'm not voting for no dyke!" they probably thought on election day.

Milwaukee and Madison are cool, as is the camping/hiking/fishing up there and house on the rock, too but right-wing big money stooge Scott Walker is not and I want him to die choking on bratwurst and cheese jammed down his throat by the green bay packers offensive line

My brother, who was a huge booster jacking him on the daily with fb pictures w/him at fundraisers and poo poo, actually turned hard against him over the casino thing and apparently going full 2016 campaign mode to the detriment of his job. So he's probably loosing a chunk of his base here and we won't have to deal with americas first rick moranis look and sound alike prez. I kind of hope he does get the nomination so we can watch him fail to carry his home state.

Walker is trying to slash 12 percent of the UW system's funding . On another ,related note, Milwaukee and Madison are the only places worth living in Wisconsin. The rest of the state is garbage

Hillary is going to be the one to saddle us with Walker. Hillary is going to block or starve out any real challengers in the Democratic primary, and then she will waltz into the nomination without taking a position on anything of substance. Then nobody is going to show up to vote for her.

The populace isn't the problem, it's the product that the populace is being sold. I don't blame poor and working class people from refusing to participate; given their choices, why would they?

One of my math professors at UW, who is one of the most brilliant mathematicians in the whole world, left basically because of Scott Walker. Yeah, he may have proved some of the most difficult theorems ever that hadn't been proven for nearly a century, but the UW faculty needs to work harder and stop sitting on their lazy asses. Also, this story is pretty cool: http://www.wpr.org/republican-uw-professor-has-sharp-words-walker-over-faculty-comment
