i paid for the newest louis ck special (which i can easily afford, natch) and then downloaded it through illegal channels because the official download was too slow for my insanely high speed residential internet connection (which is also a trivial expense). YOSPOS, BITCH!!

it's really annoying when a thing is on netflix so you add it to your "to watch" list, and then when you go to watch it, it's gone. or when u go to the itunes store to rent a movie, but it's only for purchase for like $20 and wow i'm not paying $20 for a movie i'm gonna watch once. imo these are reasons that someone might commit media piracy.

it's basically unaffordable to be a movie lover and see each important movie either in theatre or on DVD or both. so whether you can experience culture/pop-culture depends on your social/economic class. and knowing about pop culture heightens your social class and as well. so piracy actually helps by letting you build social class and maintain economic class by saving you money if you make decent money though just get it instant on iTunes it rules.
