Still, you'd think with TSN2, 3, 4, whatever, they'd toss some pittance to TNA for the rights. I mean, it's not like TNA could be choosy at this point.

Taping all their PPVs for the next year in advance is a bold move, can't wait to see how it all goes wrong.

flashy_mcflash posted:They've gotten pretty good at it and they're hopefully not under the illusion that anyone's buying these. The ONO's have always been non-canon, no-storyline affairs. That said, there's a good chance that half the people on it won't be with the company by the time they air. I'm more curious if someone prominently involved with the shows will die / go on a suicidal rampage.

flashy_mcflash posted:Much worse. Jarrett was boring but at least he had a fairly long reign where he went over a lot. Sabin as TNA champ was booked like a WWE Intercontinental champ. He was champ for less than a month and lost the title on his first defence, thanks to Tito Ortiz. Yeah Jarrett's run was painful in many ways but at least he knew enough to book himself strong.

lol all those 50-year-olds watching TNA What's Raw's median age? I know wrestling in general skews older, which is funny since they try so hard to appeal to children

I really want Joe to go to NJPW and have a career resurgence like AJ. Joe going back to ROH would be fine, but there are a lot more exciting possible matches in Japan.

NJPW still has a handful of matches with their existing roster I want to see and the indies could use another body for big matches with all the new talent. I guess if I wanted to see samoa joe in a bunch of meaningless tag matches?? Yeah I was just comparing him being a ROH regular vs being a NJPW regular. Ideally I'd like to see him with an AJ schedule, where he appears at big shows for both companies. I wonder what kind of money he's asking for. ROH isn't using Del Rio anymore since he's too pricey for their budget.
