Simple stuff that goes on in your everyday life that defies conventional logic. I have been using the same stock, no name batteries in the remote that came with my TV when I first bought it four years ago. They haven't died yet. Sometimes the remote won't work, but all I have to do is slam it against the couch or spin the batteries in place and POOF! It still works!  Maybe "super heavy duty" finally lives up to its name

I can manage to get into my car every morning and drive through traffic to work, but call the helpdesk irate because I can't stop selecting 'auto arrange' somehow and it fucks up my desktop icons. I'm also the OP's mother.

I often don't realize I've poo poo anything at all and then I find that dragon statue in my pants, covered in what appears to be grease and blood. It's all very confusing to my family and coworkers, I can assure you of THAT!!

why is it that when you drop something and see it fall it just stays where it landed but when you dont see it fall it bounces a goddamn mile away. and also when water is spilled from a glass, why does what looks like 1 mm of water cause like a monsoon on the countertop??
