Sources close to negotiations have indicated that Jeff Jarrett is having difficulties getting his Global Force Wrestling off the ground. With Kurt Angle re-signed to TNA, Jeff Jarrett is left with himself as the top star. Jarrett has worked a significant amount of indie dates in the last year but to the American public he is seen as retired. Jarrett feels it is necessary to rejuvenate his career with a Ring of Honor title reign. By buying into the company Jarrett will be able to kickstart an ROH vs GFW feud, culminating in Alberto El Patron winning the ROH title back from Jarrett and GFW at Final Battle. If Alberto is unavailable Jarrett believes AJ Styles would serve as a suitable replacement to face him in terms of nearly equal star power. These talks are not final. It is unknown if ROH or GFW will make a play for Bobby Lashley when his TNA contract ends in April as he could also step into the challenger role if Patron goes into MMA. IN OTHER NEWS Kevin Kelly denies any meeting involving the Briscoes, Adam Cole and Sinclair management happened. Alberto El Patron is expected to finish up this spring. Final Battle sold around 8,000 buys on PPV, below expectations but not a money loser. Negotiations are ongoing as to how many NJPW wrestlers will come over and if more shows will be booked. Dave Meltzer expects a long reDRagon vs Young Bucks series. My hunch is that Ciampa wins if he and ROH signed a contract, or Elgin wins if Ciampa decided to stay independent. This sounds like a joke but ROH's promotional budget has been greatly slashed for 2015. You'll notice the change directly after the next PPV. It will probably be reported/announced then but I will give further details then. One of the minor/sillier things is the ROH is no longer giving out comped iPPV codes to anyone - press, friends or families of the Wrestlers etc.

I just watched last week's episode and I was impressed a lot by Will Ferrara, I think that's the best I've seen him look yet and he made that match way better than it had any right to be. I am so ready for the endless Kingdom/Briscoes feud to be over, but hopefully Jay's dumb belt gets made into something increasingly more ridiculous looking.
