Beam down Kirk, Spock, Scott and a redshirt and steal it all. Kirk to seduce any ladies, Spock to mind scour some guards, Scotty to rig up a transporter transponder, and a red shirt to die when something goes wrong.

Kirk, with Chekov, Uhura and a redshirt.

Ask for assurances, if Kirk can argue with God, he can debate contracts with glowy sphere things.

Fight the Troyians Also, my professional opinion about the Klingons' planet is that they use bribery.

We should have shot those men, they were clearly jerks.

Send Kirk, Spock, Uhura and a pair of redshirts. Kirk and Spock can do the old charisma-logic doubleteam, Uhura just deserves some shoreleave.

I'm pretty sure that we, as Federation heroes, have to flee like cowards in an attempt to escape with our skin and do A.

Kirk, McCoy, Scotty and... 2 redshirts Spock needs to stay on the bridge and do sensor things at the problem.

A, as long as we get refreshments.

jng2058 posted:Communicate, poor Uhura hasn't had anything to do all game long! Kirk should deliver a long, rambling, emotional monologue at them about sailing tall ships and navigating by the stars.

Kirk, Spock, McCoy, three redshirts They sound primitive, we might need meatshields.

Capitalist feudalism? In my socialist techno-utopia? I think not. B These people need to embrace their fellow man and move beyond their current politics.

If McCoy can't diagnose hallucinations here, he's not doing it anywhere. B, lets wait and see.

Kirk, Spock, McCoy, three reddos

I don't think we're bald enough to do B, and A seems like a bad idea. C seems like a Kirk option.

Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Scotty, with a couple of reds I think I know which planet this is, but I'm not going to google it. That would be cheating.

I think this planet has bluffed me! B I guess. We can escape later, once Kirk has shown a rock-lady just how hard a human can get.

I'd like to say B and send everybody else for funsies, but instead I will go with A

There's a bunch of speculation about it. Probably comes down to them not thinking it was important enough to intervene over, they really didn't like getting involved.

Yeah, it's like most continuity errors. I think it gets addressed in some of the novels, but nobody sane would read those.

Seems a slightly biased game. Federation wins if you be the Federation, which is a lot easier than trying to judge how TOS Klingons are "meant" to behave. Also really top heavy with the skills. Lose one or more of your top two officers and you're hosed.
