etalian posted:Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was a far superior horror and comedy combination movie IMO. It is because it had the same meta commentary on the horror tropes with out CitW's shtick of "ISN'T OUR META COMMENTARY SO drat CLEVER?!?!?!"

The joke is that people think this was some scathing commentary instead of a mediocre movie that holds your hand through out the entire film because it thinks it's audience is too stupid to understand the genius of it's creators
