Seahawks should be going hard on Andre. Doug Baldwin tweeted something about it, dude knows a guy like Johnson would open things up for him tremendously. Every team could use a WR like Johnson, but of all the contenders in the league Seattle has to be one of the most motivated to get him.

I've yet to see anyone who thinks he'll actually land in Seattle. AJ on the other hand is a logical match. The team wants a big target, has an open window to contend and has the room to pay him a reasonable salary.

I'm legitimately OK with him going to the Seahawks or Patriots. Part of me could see him going to Oakland and catching passes from Derek Carr for the first time since Carr was a kid.

^^--one of my favorite DeBerg memories was when he was playing with a broken finger on his throwing hand. After one handoff he was kneeling down and cringing and everyone thought something terrible happened to his finger. The Patriots really haven't brought in any aging veterans in quite a bit, it's not really their MO anymore. They've kicked the tires on a few guys, but no big signings of guys out for a victory lap or anything. I would be very surprised if they were interested in Johnson at all.

I'm not sure what's going to be more depressing, watching AJ80 go somewhere with a good QB and destroy the world and know what could have been if we had a QB in Houston, or watching Nuk go to poo poo now that defenses don't have to account for Andre

Whatever you do, AJ80, don't sign with some team with no QB. Go somewhere with a good QB. Indy or GB with Andre Johnson, mah gawd. I have no expectations of us being in that fight with all our Cap issues, but I'td be cool to see Brady chuck em' to Andre. Never happen tho. Spoeank posted:http://seahawksdraftblog.com/ndamukong-suh-seattles-full-on-aggressive-off-season That dude, Davis Hsu, has been running those spreadsheets for a few years. They're actually a really cool tool to have for fans since he can provide some interesting data WRT how they're currently spending. He runs lots of free agent possibilities through his sheets. Last year it was Melton and Allen, it's not surprising that the Suh speculation got the same treatment. It's only like 3 paragraphs in that he concedes that it is technically possible for the Seahawks to pay Suh but it's unlikely they'd be willing to throw off their cap balance. quote:For all the discussion we’ve had about adding a veteran presence to the receiver’s meeting room and bolstering the weapons for Russell Wilson — nobody would match the impact of Suh in Seattle. Landing him still seems so unlikely and yet so thoroughly attractive. And as Nemhauser points out in his piece on the subject — an offensive-focused draft wouldn’t be such a bad thing anyway. Every piece I see about it ends like this, basically. Yeah, sure, Suh would be amazing with Seattle's edge players, but it's almost certainly a fantasy to think it'll ever happen. It's fun to dream though.
