We had a biology class where the teacher was talking about how certain plants are defined as fruit for having seeds, and the classification differences between, say, a pistachio and an orange or whatever, it was very basic and I don't remember the exact context. And a very dumb girl, and I mean, 'dumb', dumb, not just ditzy or silly or whatever straight up fired her hand into the air. When called upon, she asked "So, like, does that mean you can eat pinecones? Because they have seeds in them, so are they a fruit, or what?" It was one of those movie moments where there is dead silence and heads start to slowly turn. It was perfect.
