Will you play your StratPlan on the first or second shot, Daisy? Anyone else with a StratPlan can use one on the shot Daisy doesn't play her card on, feel free to send in a CO. (I'll pause for a bit here)

Let's go with the first one.

Also if you have a StratPlan but DON'T want to use it right now, you can CO for that as well.

Weapons Control activated twice against Basestar in sector 3. Starbuck plays TAC 3: Strat Plan on the first shot. Roll 1d8 = 7 + 2 = 8 Basestar Damaged, Weapons Disabled! (The highest a roll can go is 8, for the record) Roll 1d8 = 1 MISS! Starbuck personally leads the defense once more, her Viper pilots cheering and energised by the bravery of their Admiral. After driving off another wing of Raiders, she gives the order in for Galactica's main guns to open fire. Chief Tyrol calibrates the batteries, which blast into the flank of the nearest Basestar. Hefty damage is done to the Cylon flagship, with Galactica's gunners successfully disabling it's firing systems. With the colonials slowly grinding out an edge over their robotic enemy, what can they do to celebrate? A loving PARTY OF COURSE Crisis! Colonial Day - 10 POL TAC: Current Player Chooses: Pass: +1 Morale; Fail: -2 Morale. OR -1 Morale. Activate Basestars, Prepare for Jump Admiral Starbuck (DaisyDanger), do we prepare for the party?

I can offer some help. Fat should be able to do some work too, right? Man, I guess we might as well?

I can help a little if we need it.

My vote is for the -1 morale. The quorum deck could probably help us regain morale should it come to that. I can help with the skill check should you choose it.

Somberbrero posted:I can offer some help. Fat should be able to do some work too, right? We're yet to lose morale, so I don't think this is vital to pass, especially if we're going to need a test to get the old man out of his box later. That said, I can help a LOT, and the Destiny deck has coughed up the Pilot cards and (probably) one engineering card already.

I can only help a little with this, again. But I also agree that I don't think this one is very important. I wouldn't want to see someone tossing a strat plan into this or anything.
# ? Mar 31, 2015 22:56 |
It seems like we're able to pass it, but we're all kind of in agreement that we don't really need to pass it. ##NO TIME TO PARTY! Take -1 Morale
# ? Mar 31, 2015 23:15 |
Starbuck, you're no fun anymore since you got the old man title

You wouldn't be any fun either if you couldn't itch your nose.

The party is canceled -1 Morale! Basestar Attacks! 1d8 = 6 Hit! Hangar Deck damaged! Basestar Attacks - but it's weapons are disabled! No effect! +1 Jump Prep! Starbuck is the antithesis of fun and cancels Colonial Day! What a mean Admiral! The mood in the fleet drops to "Mildly Discontented". As if in retalation, the Cylons launch nukes at Galactica's Viper launch tubes! Turn 3.2: Adama (Klades) is the Current Player. Adama (Klades) draws 2 LEA, shuffles the LEA deck, draws 1 LEA then draws 2 TAC. (Ignore the fact the LEA deck is empty, there is currently 1 card in the deck. Basically, I screwed up and forgot Starbuck played an XO - and thought you guys had somehow emptied the LEA deck, a feat I've never seen happen before I only realised I hosed up after I made the board and I'm too lazy to change it)

I'm thinking scout, but should I be fishing for jump prep or a have a look at destinations since we're in the blue?
# ? Apr 1, 2015 02:13 |
Another option is xo'ing me to repair the FTL and hitting the button depending how quickly we want to get out of here.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 03:07 |
None of the civilians are in immediate danger and one of the two basestars can't shoot at us, so I don't think we really want to throw the dice at maybe -3 pop at this stage.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 03:39 |
I think you should scout for jump prep in that case.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 03:42 |
Yeah, I think that's probably the safe bet at this point. ##Play TAC 1 - Launch Scout on the Crisis deck And I'm at hand limit and the scout result won't affect this so Discard two of LEA 1 - Executive Order
# ? Apr 1, 2015 03:59 |
A Scout is launched! 1d8 = 3 Top Crisis sent to Adama Adama once again uses his contacts to covertly launch a Raptor mission from the Brig. As before, it goes off without a hitch, and it doesn't take too long for his agents to return with their recon... Klades, keep or bury the Crisis.

I plan on repairing the FTL on my turn, any objections?
# ? Apr 1, 2015 13:03 |

Neutering one basestar was nice, but we shouldn't hang around more than needed. It will depend on the crisis, but being prepared for a jump at -1 is a good idea.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 13:10 |
Now this one works ##Keep it
# ? Apr 1, 2015 13:19 |
Top Crisis card kept. Adama is serving his time, no Crisis. Turn 3.3: President Baltar (OhHiMaahk) is the Current Player. President Baltar (OhHiMaahk) draws 2 POL, 1 LEA, 1 ENG, then reshuffles the LEA deck.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 13:28 |
##Move to FTL ##Play ENG 1 - Repair Now we should be ready to get out of here before the raiders do some real damage.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 14:07 |

Dr. Baltar personally takes it upon himself to fix the Battlestar's FTL engines. He is heard complaining that, despite being the President of the Colonies, he always gets left with the worst, thankless jobs. When he finally finishes his repair work, he hears troubling news. Elements of both Galactica's crew and the civilian masses believe that there are Cylon sympathisers in the fleet and fingers are being pointed. The situation seems ready to descend into full on violence. The ringleaders are out to find a scapegoat they can blame for everything that has gone wrong in the fleet recently. Can the angry mobs be calmed down? Crisis! Witch Hunt - 10(6) POL LEA: Pass: No Effect; 6+: -1 Morale; Fail: -1 Morale. Current Player chooses a character and moves him to "Sickbay." Activate Heavy Raiders, Prepare for Jump Everyone,. play in or pass. Baltar, choose your Delusional Intuition draw. Brony Hunter fucked around with this message at 14:27 on Apr 1, 2015 |

##Draw LEA Just to clarify about the fail: I cannot choose Adama but I can choose myself?
# ? Apr 1, 2015 14:40 |
Good question! It doesn't specify "another character" so I'd rule that yeah you can martyr yourself if you wish, should the crisis fail.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 14:43 |
Baltar draws 1 LEA.
# ? Apr 1, 2015 14:44 |
Well if we can't move Adama then let's pass, yes?
# ? Apr 1, 2015 15:23 |

Ok, this is my forte, I'm going to draw right after this and my action will probably draw more cards from the Press Room. Destiny deck is brand new, right?
