I also disagree with some of the Chrysler hate. They've had their ups and downs, more so than other domestic auto manufacturers, but still have had some great products. Yes, they've knocked out some ultimate turdmobiles, but some of this was due to their financial state at the time first being bled dry by Daimler then set on the back burner to rot by Cerberus didn't help any. But the first gen LH cars were great. My '95 Intrepid ES I owned never let me down once. A traded it on a 2nd gen LH, a 300M Special, which IMO is a gorgeous car and looks very contemporary on the road even today. That also was one of the best cars I've owned. I absolutely love the LX cars, especially the 300C SRT-8, and the new 200/Darts are great looking cars. My buddy's wife owns a Dart and loves it, hasn't had a single problem with it. All auto manufacturers have cars with their own quirks and problems but it does seem to me that Chrysler gets the most poo poo hurled at it when it comes to the anger expressed about it.

In all honestly, a Challenger is probably going to be my next car. I've got an E39 540i with almost 200k miles on it and the original suspension, so I'm pretty used to a big heavy floaty barge with a V8. I've always loved the looks of the Challenger, but the interior looked godawful until the 2015 redesign, and now it's pretty nice. In all honesty, for $35k, I can get a RWD 375HP car with good looks and a six-speed manual transmission, with the big 8.4-inch touchscreen they get now. That's base-model BMW 2-series amounts of money. Yeah I know the LX platform is getting old, but it still ticks all the right boxes for me.

just dropping in to say last week I did an oil change on a 2013 c200 with 13k on the clock and the oil pan gasket was already pissing everywhere. Owner was pissed when I showed her. gently caress Chrysler.
