I'm not totally clear on your use of the term 'mandatory', but any abortion is mandatory when viewed from the perspective of the child in the womb. I'm not saying that children should get the end-all-be-all decision when it comes to medical procedures, but it certainly seems wrong that they don't have *any* say when it comes to something that big...
