In the 80's I was aware of music, my routine was getting home from school and watching nickelodeon in its infancy and then when my dad got home from work mtv got flipped on for the rest of the night (back when it was actually just music videos) , so it was always there but it was in the background. Then in the 90's people at school started talking about their favorite bands and music. So I started listening to any music I could get my hands on. The 90's were the decade that my musical tastes really came into being and I truly started to pay attention to music. I was a young, rebellious, troublemaker and this is the soundtrack to my life during the 90's.  These are actual pictures of where I grew up in the 90's literally right next door to Busch gardens in Tampa Florida. The left is the house I grew up in and the spine is me at my uncle's wedding. In the upper part of the main cover is the school I went to at the time and the bottom is the convenience store directly behind my house that used to sell me cigarettes and beer under age. I was having a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do and what kind of theme to go with but I figured I'd just go with what the 90's was and meant to me. These songs were the ones that were in the forefront of my life during the 90's and part of what drew together a bunch of grunge rockers, metalheads, gangstas, and nerds together in friendship.
