He's only 17 and 17yo kids know nothing about death or the difference between right and wrong. If he was only put in juvenile for the next 6 months until he is 18, he could be rehabilitated and go onto college where he could become a brain surgeon or maybe a rocket scientist and we would all benefit by not having him locked up like an animal.
