It's especially weird considering the adoption rate of the current gen has been fairly high. Not that weird when you remember that there was a huge push towards unifying game engine development and supporting multiple platforms at various companies over the past few years. They'll be pooping out crappy last-gen versions for a while yet.

From what I remember, it's basically a lackluster expansion sold standalone. I'd just try replaying the first again. I wonder if there are mods. Graphics mods would be amazing.
