Today’s #Pens lines:
Perron-Crosby-Hornqvist
Kunitz-Winnik-Comeau
Spaling-Sutter-Downie
Bennett-Lapierre-Adams

#Pens defensive pairings:
Martin-Lovejoy
Pouliot-Cole
Scuderi-Chorney

Fleury will be in net
6 D-men! Yay! Oh wait, Scuderi with a rookie :suicide:

Here's looking forward to Dubinsky scoring two more goals today

Columbus is going to score at least two goals with Lapierre/Adams/Scuderi/Chorney on the ice today. Then again, there's really no good way to arrange the defensemen the Penguins are dressing. Put Chorney with Martin and Lovejoy with Scuderi?

Would they start him in back to back games or are the Flyers getting their backup? I can't even think of who it is. I want to say Barrasso.

Pretty sure the Flyers are getting the backup (Thomas Greiss, though I approve of the idea of signing Barrasso for one day to start against the Flyers).

Yep, same thing I'm figuring. I won't be overly shocked if Crosby suffers some sort of vague "lower body injury" in the third period today and has to miss tomorrow's game. Nor overly disappointed for that matter.

The Penguins' TIPS TO WIN according to their broadcasters: "More hunger" and "play big and mean." I guess "more hunger" is a polite way of staying "stop being loving lazy" but I'd prefer less meanness (fewer stupid penalties, please?) and more, uh, what are those things called... shots on goal.

gently caress that noise he's gotta play even if that game is a poo poo show. He's got the best chance at the art ross

this team is sure as hell gonna flame the gently caress out in the 1st round. Ah well, hopefully Crosby can rack up a few more points.

Be harder to get the Art Ross if he misses the rest of the regular season concussed by a Flyers goon though

I'm probably biased because I hate those guys so much, but it looked more like the Jackets being incompetent

The Penguins won't miss the playoffs, if it looks like they might they'll stop being lazy and win the one more game it will require

Combination of Penguinsesque defense by the Jackets and an absolutely gorgeous one timer touch pass by Hornqvist

That's the only line that's going to score any goals tonight so here's hoping for more :toot:

See, if the opponent tries to pass the puck right where Rob Scuderi is standing he is still capable of making a good play on it!

re: Penguins making the playoffs
They're five points up on Ottawa, with a game up against them coming up. They also have a game vs Buffalo so I'm pretty confident in their ability to make it.

They should be good to go as long as they pick up a couple more points but they need to take care of business because it'd be very easy to miss if they don't start picking up points
