If anyone's interested in why exactly Ryo is is tracking down Lishao Tao, it is because Master Chen suggested Ryo sought him out just before Ryo left for Hong Kong. LT knows the location of the Yuanda Zhu, who is the man who sent Ryu the mysterious letter a couple of days after his fathers death, warning them about Lan Di, which indirectly led to Ryu finding the phoenix mirror. Ryo want's to find Yuanda Zhu because the cryptic letter suggests he knows more about Lan Di and why he father was killed, and Lishao Tao knows where Yuanda Zhu is.

i went back and re-watched the last few episodes of our shenmue lp the other day to try to figure out wtf is going on and those 3 sentences are more informative then the ~45 mins of video I watched.

I found this and then binged through the first Shenmue LP in two days. It was amazing. The only downside to that is having to adapt to a "normal" LP schedule for this LP. Oh, and that LP and this are both amazing and wonderful and I am so happy they exist.

Catching up on the last couple of videos. You know, you generally do better at Outrun if you shift into high gear at some point.  And yeah, those emulation issues are happening because you're playing on the 360. Just wanted to say it's good to see another LP with some of the old T40s crew I'm really enjoying the videos, Shenmue II still has that same slightly off tone from the first game that gives it its charm. Also is there any reason why you have to pay at the inn at all, what happens if you just let him charge your account?
