Problem description: I went from a snappy computer that got 200+ FPS in CS:GO and 60+ in H1Z1 to turtle that gets 40-80 FPS in go and 10-30 in H1Z1. It is also slower to load games, etc. It doesn't seem to get better or worse after playing games for a while, maybe it gets slightly better? I have an idea of what are the next two steps to fix this, but I am hoping someone can give me a solid recommendation on what to check next. Attempted fixes: I have tried checking all the temps and voltages, and everything looks good. Here it is with heavy load running: http://i.imgur.com/XXfS7X6.png So I tried taking out one stick of ram at a time. It looks like it runs slightly smoother with only one of the sticks, like 80 FPS in CS GO vs 40 with two sticks, or just the bad stick. If I restart a few times CS might run smooth for a while then get slow again. H1Z1 is always slow. I tried running memtest, and windows built in memory tester, nothing bad shows up. I ran Malwarebites but nothing bad, I didn't install anything recently, and I didn't let anyone use the computer, I even checked the history in case the housekeeper did. I ran Trend House Call - No threads found. Recent changes: The only possible changes are: I went away for a day The hosuekeeper came H1Z1 updated the "Big drat patch" -- Operating system: Windows 8.1 64 Bit System specs: I5 MSI z97s SLI Wraith Mobo 2x 8GB Gskill Ripjaws X Ram R9 280 Video card with 3GB Ram from sapphire 250GB Samsung EVO SSD - OS and everything else is here 500 GB WD Blue HDD 5 year old PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16817182030 Location: USA I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

I'd replace the PSU anyway, it's usually a good idea with new builds. Also, run Crystal Disk Info just to make sure there's nothing obvious there http://crystalmark.info/redirect.php?product=CrystalDiskInfo
