one of the things that struck me about him, other than the old school punk music and aforementioned substance problems was that he went to school for environmental sciences he wanted to help change the world for the better and he got shot down by reality and the fact that his colleagues were undoubtedly already selling out so he took his degree and worked on rearranging the deck chairs oh and his insane work ethic in the bad old days poo poo sounded legendary and is certainly something you can do in your 20s it'll burn your soul out but you can do it
