I perversely admire their ability to lose a 5-game series in which every game was decided by 1 goal and yet at no point did fans on either side feel like the ultimate outcome was the slightest bit in doubt.

The whole series has been score first (within the first few minutes) and then just coast until the Penguins score and then get serious again, score, etc. Or maybe I've gotten that mistaken impression from the fact the Rangers have spent most of the series on the PP and their PP is very bad.
