What type of careers are available that do not drug test? I'm a college student right now with great grades, so I can pretty much go into whatever field I want. I'm not really interested in any career, but I know I want to earn a nice about of money, no less than $50,000 a year. I love drugs and would not give them up for a job, unless I was earning $80,000+ a year, and I would only do that for a few years to save up and get ahead. I'm definitely not addicted to anything and can easily refrain from drugs for any amount of time, but I find that using them responsibly really enhances my quality of life and I would not give up that part of my life for a career. Passing a drug test to get a job is no problem. So what types of careers do you guys know of that do not drug test regularly? Your answers will greatly help by providing direction. I need to know what kinds of careers to investigate. Thanks.

Basically no job drug tests regularly unless it's some top secret poo poo or something. Just don't smoke for a month before the test and you'll be fine. As a general rule you'll be made aware of random drug tests early in the hiring process (it's really a small percentage of companies that do this and there's usually a really good reason for it). Just don't get injured on the job and ask for worker's comp because they'll drug test you (total attack on labor imo but anyway) but it seems like you're going to be working at a desk anyway.

A/V industry. stick to the major cities. you can make that much, and more, within literally 2 years if you arent a total loving incompetent rear end in a top hat. and they never drug test, the industry would fail. nobody has degrees either.

Be wary, OP. While it is true that many companies don't do random post-employment test (this depends on where you work, the randoms are a lot more common in the midwest / east coast because and illegal in some states) quite a few do hair these days which is a 3 month+ window. Also if you work in any kind of scenario where you could accidentally get hurt on the job, pretty much everybody will test you immediately if there's a reportable incident. This is usually more of a thing for the blue collar guys but anybody who works IT / Engineering / Finance etc. in a manufacturing or similiar environment has a chance. Also if you're still in school, your grades won't mean poo poo if you don't have experience, which means internships, and they will probably pre-employment screen you for those too. So realistically your best bet is to stop altogether now and not take it back up until after you get a job. which probably won't happen because you're a goon which means you most likely lack the social skills to get any kind of a job, plus you make it seem like you don't really know/care what you want to do which means youll be mediocre at best at whatever that thing winds up being. so if you're not gonna get a job anyway, just keep blazin' and don't worry about it would be my final vote.
