 Big ups to pwn for the high quality image I used to cobble this together! Last time, on Saturday Night Live... I appreciate everyone indulging my experiments in different formats for this section, by the way. It keeps it from becoming rote. Here's what I'll try this week. Must-watch: QVC, where Kate MacKinnon does a fabulous not-Liza Minelli selling a poncho that Aidy wears... weirdly. Must-skip: The Californians!: Hollywood Game Night is quickly running out of reason to exist outside of celebrity impressions (which were almost entirely dire this time around), while VLOG continues the adventures of Janelle, who continues to be the closest thing to a reason to be on the show for Sasheer Zamata, so... yay? It's not awful, but it's not legend material either. Cinema Classics still lives and dies by the strength of the movie parody, which wasn't really all that great this year, but the continuing saga of Reese D'WHAT?! remains fun enough. Music: The Wolf and Believe were apparently meant to show off some new sound, but I still fell asleep. Weekend Update Report: Part One / Part Two - Still owns! The correspondent bits were kind of off (They brought back a random-rear end old bit with the bad painting lady, and my opinion on Jacob has yet to change) but the continued sharpening of the news jokes is still a delight. Graphic lookin' good Mo0. Sadly the time of SNL posting dress rehearsal cuts to YouTube seems to have come to an end. While the first half of the season had 10 cuts posted from as many shows, there's only been 4 since the first of the year, the last being from the Dakota Johnson episode at the end of February. It was nice while it lasted.

I cannot properly articulate or understand why, but Jakob the Bar Mitzvah boy is one my favorite SNL bits off all time. Something about Vanessa nervously and pointedly ignoring all of Seth's questions just slays me.
