I played as the CIA with sunglasses earlier and for a while I was about twice as huge the guys in #2 and #3. They caught up and ate me when I was split up though. This game owns.

Is it me, or does the default spawn speed feel ALOT slower now? I used to be a racecar but now I feel super slow. I don't see anything in the changelog concerning that, or the spawn mass set to 15.

This reminds me of a really old multiplayer game goons used to play. You created a creature that ate other creatures, plants, already dead creatures, set it's stats, and then you would then let it off into the world. You had no control at all over the creature, and all you could do was go from screen to screen, watching other people's creatures. The best part was that you could draw your creature, so there were lots of penises and swastikas flying around. Here's a tip, if you split with spacebar the new blob will shoot out in the direction of your mouse cursor. This is useful if you want to catch a really small blob.

I really liked using Q. Had the best trap set out by splitting and then cruising around as two blobs waiting for others to try and take advantage of my fragile state only to realise their error when I immediately reabsorbed myself and ate them. Still works though, just made it a lot easier.

Just discovered that you can use W to "feed" the spiky blobs, and when they get big enough they shoot out a new spiky blob on the other side from the one you were shooting from. Very easy way to split up a huge blob hanging near a spiky.

You need to be decently big to capitalize on it. Probably not worth trying if you're much under 200 yourself.

Your score is basically your highest size you've achieved on your current run. If you've been partially eaten your score will remain static until you overcome that threshold. Secret tech when you're ~500 is to hover near a spiky blob so that if one of the top 5 wants to eat you he's going to be precise with his splitting or suffer losing half his mass shortly after your death. Or fire mass into a spiky so when it splits it'll fire into somebody. Or slide directly between two whales so each cannot risk splitting without being turned on in turn.

One fun minigame I've started playing is hanging around death star sized blobs. They're too slow to catch you and the opportunity cost of splitting to eat you is too high, so you enter a symbiotic relationship where you lure larger pieces into the range of the big one and they leave behind scraps for you to pick off. Until you get large enough where it does become worthwhile for them to eat you, of course...

The best moment in this game is when #3 is chasing you, and you maneuver around a spiky cell fast enough to fire mass into it before they can get out of the way. gently caress you Venezuela, I'm the king of the castle

Naming myself "Cell Molester" and gently fondling the edge of large cells as a minimum size cell seems to be a wonderful way to have people freak out and divide to get rid of me. I've taken six people out of the scoreboard by doing that so far. There's always someone farther away waiting for them to slip up.

Oh whoops I just read over my last post and I forgot to write the d in update(d). Now it just seems like I demanded myself to update the skin list. Also this bigger map is way huge than what I played like 2 days ago. When I would run into people 5-6 times, I only run into the same people like 2-3 times now.

Dev rolled back the game to an earlier version, which I think is one before m'blob got added. He'll probably(hopefully) add it back in. Edit: ffs guys, it's not a reddit conspiracy. You think a guy that hangs around /v cares what reddit thinks?
