I still cannot comprehend an adult saying that South Park is better than... every show? It's very confusing.

I'm noticing that no one has mentioned Boardwalk Empire, the vanilla of HBO shows.

Except it had a good season or two, I can't remember. The flashbacks in the last season were the best parts of that season at any rate.

The Wire is gud as theres one bit where two cops say nothing but 'gently caress' for 10 minutes, and you get to see some titties too.

I'm just watching The Wire now (fellow Canadian goons who have Bell (tv, satellite, fibe, whatever), you can watch it on Cravetv.ca! Legitimately!), and for me, I saw Omar and thought 'poo poo, it's that teacher from the Law and Order episode of Community!', whereas mostly everyone else saw that Community episode and said 'poo poo, it's Omar!'

Mad Men is The Wire for white people.

Classic South Park (roughly 1997-2006) is amazingly good television. It jumped the shark a long time ago though. The episode about World of Warcraft was probably the last really good episode of South Park.

That's one of the big problems with the show in recent years, unfunny multipart episodes that are used as filler because they've run out of ideas.

Generation kill owns but it's a miniseries and if I brought it up I'd have to mention so many others, there's a whole miniseries universe out there that is completely different than regular season releases.

Jimmy was also insanely good in Boardwalk Empire, I thought that both the character's arc and Michael Pitt's acting were brilliant, the show lost a lot when he was gone although I guess the way it ended is part of its greatness.
