The ref rushes to tell you that no, that's an illegal move, climb down right now, but you can see his heart isn't into it, and neither's the crowd's. It's always good to see a heel getting what they deserve.

The important part is, in the middle of all that, you receive a surprisingly subtle and lucid clue from the ref. It turns out under the act the little guy isn't bad at all. It's the go-home, and the match is yours!

Victory goes to the Fuemnon team! Rules say Fuego's the one to make the Finishing Move!

Fuego grabs Dino's arm and whips him into the center of the ring. Dino stumbles and falls to his knees once again, but he's still trying to shake off the beating he received; he's not going down without a fight!

Dino shakily stands just in time to see Memnon come out hot, slamming into Dino and bringing down the hard chops on the larger man's head! Meanwhile outside the ring Feugo superkicks Curupira, who was trying to take advantage of the fact that everyone forgot he was there to try and sneak up on Memnon with a chair!

Memnon whips Dino into the ropes as Fuego climbs up to the top turnbuckle, then flings himself into the ropes! And just before the two men meet, Memnon leaps up and comes down hard with the signature headbutt that's made him famous, doing the unthinkable...knocking Dino right on his rear end!

Memnon quickly rolls out of the ring before the five-count ends, viciously attacking Curupira as Fuego stands on the top turnbuckle; Dino looks up muzzily as Fuego breathes his trademark gout of flame into the air before leaping forward in a frontflip frop splash!

The bell rings and the audience explodes in a big cheer for the fan-favorite high-flyer as the babyface team crushes the dastardly heels!

Dino manages to sit up, but he's completely dazed still. Curupira is furious. At first it looks like he's going to charge the ref, but the ref returns the look with a newfound defiance, and Curupira hesitates. He then rolls into the ring when Memnon and Fuego are busy celebrating victory. Taking a running start, he hits the sitting, stunned Dino with a football kick right between the shoulder blades!

"Useless, stupid, useless...!"

Do you guys do something? Do any of the other Player Wrestlers want a last-minute segment? Or do we fade to credits on this scene?

And, with that, we fade to black as the credits roll!

Please take -1 Heat with any other wrestlers you haven't interacted with this past episode!

And while the Creative team of TICWW spends the week until the next episode sitting down with pen, paper, and generous doses of whiskey, there were some things that happened in you guys' lives...

INTERIM

The last episode of Transintercontinental World Wrestling was very well-received by critics. Wikipedia says an AV Club reviewer gave this a B+, stating that it was a "very solid outing with stupendous wrestling from a promotion that has relied a bit too much on storylines and gimmicks in the past".

Fuego, due to your popularity, you were invited to work a small but intensely beloved indy show during the week. It turns out one of the main carders in that show is super talented – but still way too green and inexperienced. Thing is, TICWW is hiring, and the kid asked you to vouch for them. Who was it? What was your response?

Margrethe, you were sparring with Elza and Mikaela during one of your customary training sessions, and Elza let out a rumor... she's heard you were next in line for the Planetary Greatbelt, but now suddenly Lady Hipolita's started keeping her mouth very shut when the subject comes up, and it looks like something's changed. No one knows for sure now. What did you do about this during the week leading up to the Contender's Cup final?

Memnon, a very highly-regarded wrestling insider newsletter came out during the week with a scoop: it looks like the contract between TICWW and the network that broadcasts the show to Côte d'Ivoire, Angola, Ethiopia and Nigeria is about to expire. Newsletter asserts TICWW has no intention on renewing the contract. Lady Hipolita has deflected every attempt to talk about this. What was your reaction?

Mikaela, Giles Primly came to you with an idea, an angle, to boost your audience and make you a star. It was... patently absurd, and didn't make you happy. What was the angle? And what was your response?

Takeo, you were approached for a merchandising deal. It's going to be very lucrative for you, but it's not something your father would ever approve. Why is that? Did you take it anyway?

Also, what's you guys' current Heat and Audience scores?

Mikaela's face shows that she was not interested pretty much from the word go, but she listens to the whole idea. Something about giving her a more tragic background where a bunch of terrible things happened to her but she rose above them all to get where she is today, and it explains why she's a good wrestler in a way that isn't quite as boring as the truth. The truth being lots of hours in the gym falling over and over again. There was some very gross ideas that even Primly realized were over the top, but the idea that they ended up with was bullied as a kid, became wrestler to show bullies, etc. Mikaela sighs when all the describing of the situation ends. "Look, I'm not opposed to a good story, but that's a little.. well, too Rocky-like for my liking. I mean, I was doing pretty good in the ring, right? Just, let's focus on that for now. I mean, it's not terrible, but it feels convoluted compared to what I've been doing. You know, going out there and wrestling."

The kid's name is Alex Starr (that's his real name, too). Fuego took the kid aside, sat him down, and explained things straight.

"I will not lie to you: you have the potential. You have the skills. You have the presence. And I can see the fire in your eyes. But if you were to enter the TICWW now, you would be a jobber."

"Listen to me, Alex. I know you want to enter the TICWW, but you need to enter at the top of your game. You have the fire; now you need to tempter it. Trust me: when you enter on your terms, I have no doubt that you will rise much faster than if you did now."

Ken Honda was never adamantly opposed to endorsements, but he was very careful about his image. He was always opposed to looking like a buffoon, and turned down TV ads which had him in a comedic role.

The NutriYum campaign is amusing enough. Takeo and a kid are meeting in a dojo, preparing to fight- the kid takes a bite of a Nutriyum bar and puts Takeo in a headlock- at least that's the first spot. They have plans for others. But it definitely makes Takeo look like a joke, and right now, as his star is starting to rise, he's relying on his mystique. He needs to still be this unapproachable figure, and tapping to an 8-year-old is just the kind of weakness snarky babyfaces love to exploit in promos.

He has his agent kindly tell Sweetums' ad firm that "While your offer is generous and was seriously considered, my client feels strongly that it does not entirely fit the direction of his career and character. My client is at a crucial moment in his wrestling career and must focus on that for the present. We wish you the best of luck with your product and campaign."

No one knows for sure now. What did you do about this during the week leading up to the Contender's Cup final?

Actually, Margrethe was miffed at something else. The Belt is icing on the cake.

She has great respect for Elza (heck, they train together) but she see's a pattern forming. First it was Dragon. They tried to push him over her before she flexed her creative control. Then she faced Elza, when many would've rathered see her and Dragon (instead, she curtain jerked, and Dragon ended up in the Main Event, stealing her spotlight). Now, with his latest endorsement, It appears that Takeo is being primed.

It's not the belt that she wants... it's the status. It's one thing to win the belt... it's another to be 'worthy' of it, and how will the viewers see her as worthy if she loses the matches that matters most?

To this end, she begin to divide and conquer slightly. Remembering the many times she was asked to job to the stars, she goes to bit players of creative and subtly remind them of her favors to them and it is only right to repay in kind. Margrethe has many friends in this business and if there are plans to put the belt on someone else, they will meet stiff resistance in future creative meetings.

She is now weary of Dragon and Takeo. She knows many love Dragon's high flying style over her own old school heel antics, and Takeo is... well... 'younger and fresher'. Age is knocking on her door. Whih is why she needs to start building a legacy 'now'.

On a side note, she thinks creative may have a grudge against Mikaela. The whole 'rise above bullies' thing is so godforsakenly rediculous, Margrethe nearly pissed herself laughing when she was told of it.

Memnon attempted to schedule a meeting with Lady Hipolita for the bulk of the week, but was entirely unsuccessful. This matter is extremely serious to Memnon, who sees himself as the African Union's ambassador to this sport. Even more importantly, Memnon relies on the support of his African fans to boost his popularity within the organization. While he fancies himself as having international appeal with his message of fighting against elitism, he is no fool and recognizes that TICWW, as an international organization, inevitably relies on fans gravitating towards their homegrown champions. Finally, Memnon is not the sort to let things work themselves out, for better or worse. His frustration with the situation eventually came to a head during his appearance on ዛሬ ማታ, a talk show based in Addis Ababa. The host, Fassilidas Joas, largely threw softball questions to Memnon which allowed him to mock Curupira further, keeping their kayfabe feud going for the cameras as he was told. Eventually, though, Memnon shocked the host as he started to ask about the firebrand wrestler's plans for this upcoming episode.

"I haven't yet decided whether to participate this week, or whether to protest the games and their anti-African agenda, Fassilidas."

The host was obviously surprised by this earnest statement, and was unsure how to proceed. "I assume you are speaking of the reports that TICWW is pulling out of their contract in several African countries? Can we take this as confirmation of those rumors?"

"I know exactly as much as you do, my friend. I have been turned away at every attempt to speak on this matter. I would not be surprised, though, as we all know how the west feels about Africa. You asked about confirmation...you can take this as confirmation that management seems to be wholly unconcerned with Africans, including their own employees!" Memnon is obviously angry as he continues, metaphorically climbing onto his soapbox to continue, "I have tried all week to give them the chance to speak with me and set the record straight, but all I've gotten is the cold shoulder. Addis Ababa - listen to me! If you care about seeing the most popular sporting event on the planet, make your voices heard!" Memnon stands as he delivers his call to action, addressing the camera with his eyes full of passion. "Do not allow the west to ignore us! I fight for you, as I always have, but I cannot win this fight alone! Take to the streets, take to the airwaves, take to the internet, but whatever you do - do not take this action from TICWW lying down! If you want TICWW to be available on African networks, we must stand together!"

With that, Memnon takes his microphone off, signalling that he has finished his tirade and leaves, awaiting the inevitable fallout from his rant.

Break Kayfabe: 2d6+1 8. I get +2 Momentum, and I choose the option for: Creative books you in a punitive match. Bring it on!

We turn to the Globaldome, as the gathered audience anxiously waits the taping for the third episode of this season to start. A lot of them are, of course, messing with their cellphones. Many have watched the recent clip of Memnon speaking up against TICWW, which someone managed to extract and post on Youtube. The video, touching on relevant issues inside and outside the world of wrestling, went through a round of heavy sharing on social media sites, reaching thousands of people who aren't fans of wrestling.

Couple that with the very favorable reviews the program has received in recent weeks, and the people at TICWW are surprised to find themselves with an unexpected spike in popularity: the Globaldome has near full attendance tonight, while TV audience is a lot higher than expected.

That's right, everyone! As you've accumulated a total of +15 Audience between you, the audience of Transintercontinental World Wrestling has grown! This means everyone resets their Audience to their starting score – you've got a lot of people watching tonight who have never tuned in a wrestling show in their lives, and they don't know you.

So let's remedy that, shall we?

---

Episode 3 starts out by turning all the lights in the Globaldome way down. In the darkness, the Jumbotrons come to life, picturing the trademark aspect radio and shakiness of a video made with a handheld device.

The sun's shining down on a parking lot. An informative caption, placed by TICWW, helps situate viewers:

Barranquilla, Colombia
7:14 AM yesterday

The video shows Le Grande Mort, in full wrestling gear, walking straight at whoever's holding the camera.

"You think you can escape me, Pedro Alvarez? You think you can escape death itself?"

Alvarez, if you recall, is the retiring Colombian who put his feud with Mort on Mikaela Winters' shoulders in the first episode of the season. It seems his enemy has caught up with him...

There's a blur, moving in from out of frame directly into Le Grande Mort. The person does a shoulder tackle that doubles Mort over; then, the blur grabs him and power bombs Mort right into the hood of a parked car. There's a loud SLAM sound; the car alarm goes off, and you can clearly see the sprawling Mort on the dented hood.

The mysterious figure turns and the camera catches a glimpse of who it is...

Pedro Alvarez takes a step back with the camera, but The Lophophorate does not move toward him. Behind Lophophorate, however, Mort has managed to stand on top of the car.

For a moment, both stare each other down. The Lophophorate, unreadable, on the floor, Le Grande Mort, clearly hurt, on the car's roof, while the alarm keeps on blaring. Mustering all his strength, Mort takes off in a missile dropkick, aiming at Lophophorate's chest! Lophophorate, in his turn, jumps up with a flying roundhouse kick of his own, going higher than anyone thought possible! Both men meet violently in mid-air and fall to the floor.

The Lophophorate gets up and dusts himself off, while Le Grande Mort is down on the floor... completely unmoving. For the first time, Lophophorate stares directly at the camera, his creepy mask clearly visible. He speaks, and his voice is macabre, almost gurgling.

"Hear me.

The Herald of Death... is dead.

I am coming."

The cameraphone snaps back to where Mort's body lay, but it is completely gone. It's unclear whether Mort managed a last minute escape, or whether his supernatural nature means his body returned to whatever lower dimension it came from in the first place.

---

The video fades to black, and there's complete silence in the Globaldome. A couple of seconds go by to allow people to catch their breaths, and then we cut to another video.

This one boasts a completely different atmosphere than the previous footage. We're in a brightly lit studio, decorated with some very green plants. Sitting behind a desk, we've got mild mannered Bob Manning. In front of him, in a chair, is El Dragón Fuego, in full wrestling gear. It's Manning who starts talking.

"And that is the video sent to Transintercontinental Headquarters yesterday by a very shaken Pedro Alvarez. The Lophophorate was last seen in the match where he lost the Planetary Greatbelt title to current champion, Soaring Sifu. Most of us, and I must confess myself included, were hoping the man had disappeared for good. I don't think anyone expected his return to be so... dramatic. And, at this point, it must be accepted as a fact that The Lophophorate is back.

I have with me luchador superstar El Dragón Fuego, coming out of a hot victory last week. Fuego, you were the one chosen to face the Lophophorate in his debut return to the Globaldome. How are you feeling?"

What do you do?

---

This is the definite goodbye of Le Grande Mort. Worry not, he's fine, he's just chosen to continue his career under another name, in another promotion, and TICWW then decided to give the Mort persona a proper goodbye.

As to not waste the Heat everyone has with Mort, here's a custom move:

When you display an emotional response to Le Grande Mort's fate in Colombia, roll +Heat with Le Grande Mort. On a 10+, pick 2; on a 7-9, pick 1:
• gain +1 Momentum
• gain +1 Heat with The Lophophorate
• tell everyone about a clue you've discovered regarding The Lophophorate's mysterious identity and motives

This is a one-time move; after you make it, you can't make it again, and feel free to stop tracking Heat with LGM.
e: this custom move can by made by anyone!

---

And this marks the start of episode 3, everyone! Sorry for the delay and for the long-rear end post!

The camera pans over to the source of her rage. Margrethe Wolfram in her wrestling gear, _that_ flag, and a bottle water that she is sipping casually from, is standing nonchalantly as security is prepping to break up the inevitable scuffle. There is none.

Instead she cocks her head, as if she can hear the "Margrethe Sucks" chants out in the live crowd. She waits for a few beats, than speaks.

The video of Colombia certainly was a weird direction the audience wasn't expecting, but seeing the wrestlers comment on it put them back on familiar ground, and they start popping like normal again. Margrethe and Mikaela going at each other brings everyone full circle back into what they enjoy best in TICWW, and there's a huge reaction. People are holding signs of MARGRETHE WOLFWRONG and MIKAELA WINTERS and MEMNON WAS RIGHT.

The scene cuts back to the Globaldome, where the Lophophorate's theme song has started playing. Lights of all colors are flickering on and off... up to the point where they come back on for good, and the man himself is shown to be already standing on the ring! The sudden appearance startles the ring announcer...

"La-ladies and gentlemen! In the ring, right now, back from an absence of many weeks, the former holder of the Planetary Greatbelt... hailing from locations unknown... theeeee Lophoooophooooraaaate!"

The audience pops, and the Lophophorate raises his arms in the middle of the ring, slowly turning to face each portion of the audience, his bizarre mask inscrutable.

"And in the left corner – hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, the Globaldome's very own resident luchador! The man the public calls the High-Stakes High-Flyer! El Dragóooooooooon Fueeeeeegoooooooo!"

This is Tom Talker, and I have to say, we are already reaching the boiling point! The return of the former champion, the apparent death of Le grande Mort, and then to top it all off, Margrethe is up to her old tricks as, apparently, she has convinced the upper management to add a stipulation to tonight's main event, a match that will determine Soaring Sifu's opponent for his first title defense!"

Tom Pauses to read his notes. "But of course, that's in the future! Right now, we are in for an interesting match up. El Dragon Fuego, coming off two huge wins (yes, I still say he has beaten Margrethe), locking horns with the former holder of the Planetary Greatbelt and I must say that a win tonight will definitely lock his name into the title picture!"

"But where are my manners, sitting besides me is my broadcast colleague..."

Another advance? Well, if you insist! I'm taking Excellence of Execution. It lets me roll +Work on my finisher.

Fuego comes down the ramp, no longer wearing the Memnation shirt, but still taking time to acknowledge the fans. He stops outside the ring, staring daggers at the mysterious foe. He then climbs in cautiously, never taking his eyes off Lophophorate.

"I'm Maria Castillo, the Globaldome's current Lucha expert. Welcome, everyone, to something that should hopefully be an exciting wrestling match. However, with one such as The Lophophorate, you never know what to expect. His dishonorable actions towards Le Grand Mort outside of the ring show that he is not a predictable or stable individual."

As Fuego hits the ring and the anouncer finishes, Maria listens to the crowd. "This is the power of Lucha in action, Tom. The excitement is in the air, and soon, Fuego will be making some excitement of his own!"

As you climb through the ropes, the Lophophorate starts making a rhythmic, gurgling noise. It takes everyone a while to realize he's laughing.

"It's this what management has produced to stop me? Is this what I must contend with?" His microphone has a special filter: his voice, when amplified for the audience, sounds distorted and slightly gurgly.

"You call yourself a dragon? That is but a name the feeble-minded coined to convince themselves a pathetic little lizard could be more than a pathetic little lizard. Here is free advice for you, boy. It is not. Come on."

The Lophophorate assumes a karate-inspired fighting stance: knees slightly bent, legs wider apart than you'd expect, arms guarding the torso with open palms.

Of course, if you want to do something before the bell, please do so.

You start with control!

The Lophophorate is being brought back by TICWW because he's a very competent, versatile wrestler; feel free to narrate him doing straight-up lucha spots with you.

Fuego stalks around his opponent, sizing him up; this is the first time the two men have met in the ring. Fuego approaches cautiously, and is met with a vicious chop to the neck, followed by a kick to the chest!

Fuego stumbles backwards into the ropes, clearly not having expected that. Before he can regain his composure, Lophophorate comes in with a low charge into Fuego's midsection, knocking air out of the lucha!

Lophophorate turns to acknowledge the jeers of the audience, giving Fuego the seconds he needed to get his wind back. He charges just as Lophophorate turns back to face him, and leaps up for a Guillotina!

Leg drop: 2d6+2=11. BOOM. I think I'm set on Momentum for now, so I'm going to take +1 Heat with Loph, taking me to +2 and I keep control.

"Lucha is too fast to allow someone like Fuego even a second to react. A beautiful leg drop by the luchador, and the crowd is loving it!" Maria's mic picks up some clapping. "The Lophophorate is dangerous, however. It will take more than a simple guillotine leg drop to take him down and win the match."

"I agree, Maria. Dragon should also take special care to keep his eyes on Lophophorate as well. The lack of attention was detrimental to him two weeks ago against Wolfram, and Lophophorate is not above tossing the rule book out of the window."

Tom adjusts his headset. "...however, the real story of this match is the fact that this is the first meeting between these two, and I don't think Lophophorate has ever faced someone quite like Dragon, a man who can hit you from so many different directions and angles when you least expect it! I'm intreigued as to how a methodical wrestler like Lophophorate will try to ground him..."

The crowd lets out a large BOOYA at the very plastic, very visual jumping leg drop. Nice work!

The Lophophorate drops to the floor, clutching his neck in pain... but this match is just starting, and in a few moments the villain has recovered his feet. In one measured, almost balletic step taken straight out of a karate kata, he approaches Fuego. It looks like his plan is to whip you into the ropes!

Evil Mastermind

Oh no. Not the ropes. Anything but that.

Lophophorate does indeed fling Fuego towards the ropes...and it's clear that he's never watched one of Fuego's matches. Fuego allows himself to be whipped towards the ropes; he bounces, and leapfrogs over Lophophorate's attempt at a low forward punch!

When Fuego lands behind Lophophorate, he immediately hops up onto the top rope, and launches backwards into a moonsault!

And is caught by Lophophorate! The crowd gasps as the lanky man catches Fuego with surprising ease and drops him into a sudden backbreaker!

Fuego rolls in pain as Lophophorate pulls him up by his mask, then kicks Fuego's legs out from under him and locks him in a brutal armbar!

The ref comes in to check on Fuego, who screams in pain and reaches out for the strength of his fans...

How have I not done this yet? Chant my name!: 2d6+2=8; I'll take the 1 Momentum.

FUE-GO! FUE-GO! FUE-GO!

The ref breaks the hold, and Lophophorate steps back as Fuego tries to get to his feet.

"The strength of the Lophophorate is incredible for his size. Fuego may not be very big by this company's standards, but he is not that easy to catch normally. From the backbreaker into a very deep armbar. I don't believe that Fuego will give up here, but you can see the pain on his face!"

"But this also shows yet another factor Fuego brings to the table, as the fans of the Global Dome is coming alive! He is definitely one with the hearts and minds of the crowd! My chair is literally shaking with the force and energy from them!"

Oh yeah, the crowd goes with it. They chant your easily chant-able name with wild abandon!

The signs start propping up:

FUEGO LIKES IT HOT

SPOT-ON DRAG-ÓN

DRAGON >>>>> DINO

FUEGO BEAT MARGRETHE (OBVS)

The Lophophorate isn't happy about the situation. He breaks the hold clean, raising his hands in innocence as the ref drags him away from Fuego... but he pokes the ref in the shoulder and points to the audience, indicating the only visible sign about himself:

LOPHOPHORATE? MORE LIKE NO-PHOPHORATE

The ref chuckles at this unexpected display of humor from this heinous villain, but it was only a distraction! The Lophophorate is quick to stomp Fuego's head on the floor before going back to feigning innocence!

Working the Audience doesn't count as a Wrestling move, so control's still yours! This was just... you know, a tiny stomp. For good measure.

Fuego rolls on the mat as the ref turns back around and pushes Lophophorate back again. Fuego gets to his knees and shakes his head to clear it. He glowers up at Lophophorate, and when the ref is clear Fuego charges low and slams his shoulder into Lophophorate's gut, pushing them both into the ropes!

But Fuego doesn't stop there! When the two men hit the ropes, Fuego grips Lophophorate's waist, and kicks up to get his legs up around Lophophorate's neck! He then lets go of his foe's waist, and pushes up until he's sitting on Lophophorate's shoulders!

The fans go wild as Fuego starts pounding his opponent in the head as they realize: this is one of Le Grande Mort's signature, and most difficult, moves; the Twist of Fate! Fuego is fighting Lophophorate with Mort's moves!

Harder than it looks so I'm rolling +Heat: 2d6+2=9, spending 1 Momentum (down to 4) to make that a 10. Maintaining control and taking +1 Heat with Lophophorate, bringing me to +3.

"Fuego seems to have escaped the hold, and now.. the match continues! Into the ropes..Fuego is now onto his shoulders..Can it be?" A dramatic pause while Maria pretends to check her notes. "It is! That's Le Grande Mort's move, the Twist of Fate! He may no longer be here, but his spirit is living on through the luchador! This is incredible!"

The two of you working together to make it as explicit as possible, and the announcers spelling it out, mean the audience gets it. They go crazy for the spot!

The Lophophorate is an old dog, and he has his tricks, however. He leans against the ropes as his head gets pounded, and the ref rushes to call you off!

Evil Mastermind

Fuego hops down and backs off, taking a moment to urge the fans on. He turns back to Lophophorate just as the mysterious man charges in and clotheslines Fuego with new-found ferocity! Fuego hits the mat hard and quickly rolls out of the way of a vicious stomping!

And seeing his foe off-balance, Fuego kicks out and knocks Lophophorate's legs out from under him! Lophophorate lands hard, and Fuego takes advantage of the situation to quickly run to the turnbuckle, hop up, and leap backwards into a double-kneedrop moonsault!

So many exclamation points!: 2d6+2=8. I feel like we're getting close to the end of the match so I'll take the +1 Momentum and transfer control to keep things interesting.

Fuego connects hard, Lophophorate folding nearly in half from the impact as Fuego bounces off his midsection and lands in a heap next to his opponent. It looks like this match is taking a lot out of both men!

"I'm speechless, literally speechless! El Fuego is flat out magic and he looks poised to pull one out of the hat tonight! Will he do it? Will he end the reign of terror and avenge Mort?"

Tom watches as the ref begins the double count. "Both men are down... Maria, I have a feeling that if Dragon can get to his feet first, he may be in perfect position to win this!"
