This made me look it up, but man, there were a lot of bad #1 picks in the 60s:
Bill McGill
Art Heyman
Jim Barnes
Fred Hetzel

Seriously, who the hell are those guys?

That #1 pick question has to be wrong cuz Admiral, Tim and Hakeem all won w/ their respective teams.

E: poo poo, Magic and Worthy, too.

E2: And I see it was already answered. D'oh.

Back in the day you couldn't even just sign an over the hill veteran for the minimum like today, you had to give Magic Johnson away for the right to do it.

Jalen Rose in the pregame was arguing that one of the rule changes should be banning of music, but most teams already play music when they are forbidden to by rule anyway so pointless change.

I would like Philadelphia to get 3 in the top-10 picks but have none of them be #1.
I'd be cool with Sacramento winning it cause WhiteRyce is a good poster and I remember him from the old days. I would also be okay with the Timberwolves winning it if it meant Audiogoon came back to leak their pick a week in advance.

I'm a Pacer fan and Russ is my favorite player, so I hope both teams jump into the Top 3. Also that would strip the Lakers of their pick, so it would doubly own.

That's not necessarily an equivalent thing though, this draft seems like it's likely going to be a lot better than next year's, especially near the top.

I will obviously always laugh and the Lakers losing a pick, but the whole Philly thing seriously annoys me for reasons I can't totally articulate so hopefully they at least don't get three lottery picks.

you literally think a person saying their NBA team of choice being better than the fucking 76ers is a 'schtick'

a literal thing you think.

Excuse me forums user "Rick" for my poor choice of words.

I hope Indiana and OKC jump into the Top 3, the Lakers do not, and thus the Lakers pick falls outside of the Top 5 and goes to the 76ers, who due to a trade own the rights to a Lakers first round pick this season but with Top 5 protection, in the alternative next season's pick with top 10 protection, and in the alternative if the Lakers pick is a Top 10 pick next year their 1st round pick in 2017 with no protection.
