:siren: For the first time in over a decade, Rafael Nadal is legitimately not the favorite. He has played like poo poo all year and is the #7 seed. This also means Novak Djokovic has a real chance at the calendar year grand slam.:siren:

http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/index.html

The second slam of the year begins Sunday, May 24 and ends Sunday, June 7. Local time in Paris is 6 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time.

TV coverage generally starts at 5 a.m. ET every day on ESPN2, continuing on NBC on weekends, with additional coverage on http://www.watchespn.com. The RG website and app also offer radio streams which are very good.

Nadal got drawn in Djokovic's quarter, which means they could meet in the quarterfinals. Obviously, Djoker would prefer to not play Nadal at all, but I suppose it's better to get him earlier than later.

Federer has a nice draw which probably means he'll lose in the second round.

Nadal and DJoker being drawn in the same quarter has resulted in their odds falling to 4/1 and 5/6, respectively. Murray's odds improved slightly, while Federer's improved the most, by 50% to 10/1.

The women's odds are virtually unchanged.

Donna Vekic got past Caroline Garcia from being down a set and I think a break in the second. Huge win for her. It will be interesting to see how many spots she can climb this year if she's out of her slump and starts playing better consistently. I think she's 18 now and perhaps she'll start to make some noise on the wta tour.

I used to really like the rolandgarros site for the highlights without too much talking or just showing set points (like wimbledon's site does). But they clearly have changed it and it now really loving sucks. Even looking at scores is annoying.

That said...come on anybody but Nadal or Djoker.

Yeah, the RG site is complete poo poo. Surprising since I thought IBM handled everything for all the slams.

The website is awful. Another website designed for mobiles first. Hope you like scrolling!

Federer was rightly criticising the security, but they really can't stop people from doing stupid poo poo. There are always going to be some idiot without manners.

It's so sad what is happening with Aga Radwanska. She is lacking in confidence and looks lost on court.

Holy poo poo Baghdatis is still playing on the tour? Bonkers.

Nadal is a big baby who has requested that Carlos Bernardes not umpire his matches because Bernardes actually gives a poo poo about the time rules.

Bouchard's match is interesting. Already a couple of breaks. Wouldn't be a shock if she got dumped out.

Halep loses 7-5 6-1 to Lucic-Baroni. I had previously been upset that I wasn't able to find the link in time for the Tennis Channel's bracket challenge, but I would have had Halep through to the semis so welp.

Bit worried about Halep to be honest, she's been kind of wobbly lately. I hope she can reverse the trend but she sometimes seems susceptible to confidence issues and I hope this doesn't spiral out of control Bouchard-style. Lucic-Baroni beat her at the USO last year as well and I kind of had a bad feeling about this match the moment I saw the draw.

Kuznetsova/Schiavone goes 13-11 in the 1st set tiebreak. Here we go again!

Sodium Chloride

Don't really understand the Halep hype. She's had a bad year even with that big hardcourt win (which was more to do with JJ melting down than anything Halep did).

Murray got a couple of time violations because he was waiting for the replay on the screen to finish before serving. Seems like a bad idea to have replays between points, when some players like Nick Kyrgios play hilariously fast.

Sock is currently taking forever between points and the umpire is doing nothing about it.

This Monfils v Cuevas match is kind of hilarious. Cuevas was double break up in the 4th, then imploded under pressure from the crowd and was broken three times in a row. This being Monfils, though, I almost expect him to lose this final set 6-1 or something.

edit: I guess Cuevas is collapsing instead. Poor guy, he looks shattered.

Azarenka up a set and an early break in the second. Lots of missed 1st serves for Serena. Lets go Vika! :nsacloud:

Edit that was a must hold for Serena to 2-3. She's louder then Vika right now :munch:

Edit2 bullshit end to the second set. That point should have been Vika's and not replayed. Out call came after Serena hit it.
Vika up an early break in 3d :getin:

I should have known I would get spoiled wandering into the thread about Cornet since I've been watching the tournament on delay, but oh well. I probably wasn't going to get to see it anyway since NBC Sports online functionality is crap.

It does look like Berdych will be destroyed. So combine that with the fraud Bouchard immediately and thoroughly exposed, and all I need is for Nadal to be dethroned and this will have been an amazing fortnight
