I posted in the Mr. Bungle, Primus, Fugazi, and Smashing Pumpkins threads so I thought I would start a new thread about another cool '90s (1990-1999) band called NOFX (sometimes stylized as NoFX). Apparently they are still a band but seriously don't bother, that's depressing. Also the name is misleading because they most certainly do use effects. i have heard the decline way too many times in its entirety, probably like more than 24h cumulatively. i haven't seen these people live in over a decade i think, that's kinfd of a bummer. last show i saw, melvin played accordion for like twenty minutes after an encore or whatever just getting bottles pitched at him while they broke down the stage

The one time I saw NOFX live Fat Mike was having back problems and had to do the whole show lying down on a couch. It was a fabric couch but it still supported his head just fine.

What is the most under-rated nofx album/song? Anything from Ribbed but "Gonoherpasyphilaids" sticks out in my mind as a good song Also that "The Longest Line" short EP thing was pretty good Idunno! It is a great question.

I'm in the minority for sure but I still (occasionally) like new NOFX. At least they have no pretenses about themselves. They know what they are and mock themselves for it.
