I can't, the movie is very problematic for me. Like, at the beginning, we're set up with the old man falling down by the grave and then having a very intense flashback to a very intense "gritty and realistic" assault on Omaha Beach, but then at the end, the twist is that he's really Private Ryan, who jumped in to France with the 101st hours before the assault on Omaha Beach and wasn't actually there to remember any of the scenes we saw in the first 2/3rds of the movie.
