Listening to other people make fools of themselves is easily the best part of any date. Once my wife and I decided to take a two-part cooking class together and the second time this guy who wasn't in the first class proceeded to royally screw up our team souffle while telling us about how he invented indian food in mexico. As in, he was apparently in a hotel in Mexico eating dinner, asked if he could go into the kitchen, and was the first person in the world to invent putting eggplant in curry. The chef totally nearly fellated him when he saw what was being made  but our hero magic genie protagonist just let them get away with putting it on their mexican menu and then came to save us poor souls in cooking class by literally opening the oven to check on souffles EVERY FIVE MINUTES while the rest of our team cried in the massive embarrassment we felt for him.
