It probably got nuked cause it regularly made the front page and reddit, like any other multimillion dollar corporate entity, gets it's knickers in a twist if the bottom line gets hurt. Until /r/photos of your 8 year old neighbor or /r/cute female corpses start getting seen by john and sally internetbrowser reddit will say they will defend them to the death.
