Script was dumb Acting was meh Horror movie logic all over the goddamned place CG 2 DA MAX But holy poo poo, they hold off on the chekov's raptor until the last possible second and it makes for a pretty nifty finale. I doubt we're going to see a more perfect example of the "popcorn flick" this summer. Also holy poo poo I nearly cried at murdered brontosaurus.

Jurassic World is as much of a jumbled hybrid as its own featured dinosaur. It's an action-adventure blockbuster that feels very of its time: overstated, overstocked, overblown, and overdone.
