Oh man, just heard the news.

As always when a wrestler passes, I don't know the real man behind the character, but god drat was he consistently entertaining. One of the greatest mark out moments in the last five years was when he did a flip-flop-and-fly and clocked Dean Ambrose with a Bionic Elbow. Since Dean marked out at having Jake put Lucifer on him, I imagine that was a career highlight for him :unsmith:

My buddy was wearing a sharpie version of Samoa Joe's dickface tattoo because he lost a toxx bet that I couldn't pick the winner of the Royal Rumble. When we explained this to Dusty, he told my friend that I had called him before and he told me the finish.

"There were two bad people. One was John Wayne and he's dead, brother. The other is right here."

John Wayne died on this day 36 years ago.
