Really, both the HRs are just lazy as hell. They tried to go for difficulty but that really amounts to spaming ridiculous amounts of monsters without rhyme or reason and extremely frustrating level layouts.
If I want a legitimately good difficult .wad, I'd go for something like Alien Vendetta, but HRs are just bad.

edit: How do you feel about other people doing their videos? Want to keep it your show or turn it into a Doom megathread?

Scythes are...weird. I honestly think he ran out of good map ideas about halfway through the second one; Scythe 1 is great up to level 20, then it gets ridiculously spammy.
