Eh, it was pretty much tradition in Western society for dancers to have the connotation of being "comfort women" regardless of what kind of dancing they did. Even dances and performances that our standards today would be considered fairly tame would have been considered very lascivious. Doesn't mean Leen or other dancers of the time actually WERE sex workers--but public opinion tends towards ugly assumptions. Let's not forget that in Ancient Rome, actors, dancers and stage performers actually were on lowest rung of social reputation, arguably even LOWER than prostitutes. In fact, it was actually impossible to be legally charged for raping an entertainer, since in Roman code their bodies were LITERALLY considered to be public property.
