I feel the need to address the thing everybody's thinking, the elephant in the room, if you will, which is, if we're even considering this, social inequality is obviously not actually a problem, so why bother doing it? the way things are arose from an agreeable apolitical and natural status quo, not to be upset by meaningless political gesticulation, we have a black president, enough is enough
