Why can't christians make good entertainment? Even when I was a young church goer, I was very aware that a lot of the movies/tv/music/books they cranked out were poo poo.

You have so much money, thousands of years of musical, visual, and theatrical tradition, and first dibs on a book with a story so compelling that people have been retelling it in various ways for a couple thousand years. What gives?
